Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Content Executive to work on our portfolio of publications, websites, events and awards. Our well-established and high-quality brands connect consumers and business leaders in the spirits industry across the globe.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a degree-educated person with a passion for words and excellence in content generation to assist with editorial content across all our market-leading print and digital brands and to coordinate all aspects of Paragraph’s digital content to optimise brand awareness, traffic and the reader journey on all websites.

You have solid, demonstrable background in researching, interviewing, writing and subbing for print-first titles and thorough experience of digital media and social media platforms. You are skilled at generating ideas and creating engaging content, and are able to data analyse and make informed decisions in response.

You will work as part of the editorial team in writing, editing, sub-editing and proofreading both print content (magazines, annuals, books, awards collateral) and, increasingly, digital content on consumer and B2B websites and social media channels. You must show skill at writing for the web and a proper understanding of SEO copy.

You thrive on multi-tasking and enjoy working within a team, as well as managing your own time and setting priorities. You are an excellent communicator with an eye for detail and able to work to strict schedules and under pressure. Responsibility will come quickly, so rapid comprehension is a must.

In all projects, you will report to the editorial team, the marketing manager and the publishers.

The role is based from our Norwich office and will require some national and occasional overseas travel.

Salary: £21,000.00 /year

Requirements

2 years+ experience in content roles for publications and websites
Strong written and spoken communication and digital content management skills
The position includes profit share and real opportunity for growth and rapid progression within the company.

Interviews will take place w/c 20th January 2020. Ideally, we would like the candidate in place by the end of March 2020.
